Description
Cefoperazone & Sulbactam Injection
• Product Overview
Cefoperazone & Sulbactam Injection is a combination of a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic and a β-lactamase inhibitor used for the treatment of moderate to severe bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. Cefoperazone inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Sulbactam protects Cefoperazone from degradation by β-lactamase enzymes, thereby extending its antibacterial spectrum. It is administered by intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection and is suitable for adults and children as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
